Small Gifts That Transport You

These are the gifts I like to buy multiples of—to either package up and send off, or to carry in my suitcase if I’m traveling for the holidays. They’re lightweight, some pack flat, others are just small—so they are easy and inexpensive to ship. I chose these objects because they’re easy and make pretty much everyone happy. And some work well as stocking stuffers! —Y.E.

The Il Pellicano tote bag: Probably the easiest, crowd-pleasing, one-size-fits-all present.

This Maison Louis Marie candle is my favorite to gift. It’s the right price for a candle ($36! I don’t know why candles have started inching into the $100 range!), made in Los Angeles, by a woman-owned company. My favorite scent is the Bois de Balincourt. I’m also a fan of their roll-on perfumes.

I’m a notebook person, and I love these ones that I found at my favorite store in Los Angeles, OK Store.
