I think Nassau is pretty great–especially since you can go through customs there and don’t have to do upon arrival. Also San Juan. And Barbados and Antigua are easy breezy!

Three and half hours direct from NYC to MoBay, 90 minutes to Ocho – you’re there for lunch on the beach. Very old school. Best service anywhere in the Caribbean. Great food, gorgeous beach, old world charm, spa, wonderful history (see: Arthur Miller and Marilyn Monroe vacation spot). With the exception of ample WiFi you wouldn’t know what decade it was.
