As my mom Yolanda said above, a lot can be closed in September due to it being its off season, which can be lovely, if not a much quieter time! However the water will still be warm, and the weather will still be lovely. Best to check with your hotel if they’re still operating that late in the season. I know they stayed at the Romazzino which should be a great option…Hope this helps! Feel free to also drop your question into our Club Yolo Substack chat! Many thanks!

Actually Sardinia is very off season in late September–which can be fantastic–but also, a lot can be closed. Check with the hotel you’re looking at and make sure they’re still open. The water is still warm, days are hot, and the evenings are brisk!

My father is planning a 70th birthday in Puglia the first week of October, and I am trying to tie in our first full-family European trip with our kids. Appreciate any insights!
